Mediator Of A Better Covenant

Do you understand the concept of Mediation?
1 Timothy 2:5. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

The Law was ordained by angels through the mediator Moses.
Galatians 3:19, 20. Wherefore then serves the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the seed should come to whom the promise was made; ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one.

So you have a choice, are you seeking to know His Will by means of the mediation of a Law Code, ordained by angels by the hand of Moses?
Or will you know Him at the hand of His beloved, only begotten Son?
It is, in fact, a choice that you are making, even now.
The Law? Or the Lawgiver?

Hebrews 6:16. For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute.

When we seek and gain reconciliation with the Father through the arbitration of His Son, we acknowledge by way of covenant that we accept His terms as they are established by the Mediator.
There can be no further deliberations or renegotiations with God.
His stake does not just represent the acceptable sacrifice
made by the Savior for all.
It represents The Father's final judgment against sin.
Death is The Standard.

Romans 6:6, 7. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

No negotiations, terms are final. Any other gospel is cursed.
For he that is dead is freed from sin.
With this comprehension, the role of the Mediator is made clear.

Hebrews 8:6. But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.

Hebrews 9:15. And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
