I came across this chart in my study Bible today and thought it rang true and might be valuable to others. The premise of the chart is that this is one way to evaluate spiritual maturity. Of course, what’s lacking in this chart is step-by-step direction on how to reach maturity; however, the clear implication is diligent study of God’s Word put into action – teaching, serving others, and fellowship with more mature believers is the formula for victory.
Immature Choices - Mature Choices
Just being taught - Teaching others

Cautious apathy and doubt - Active faith
Fear - Confidence
Living according to feelings - Living in the light of God’s Word
