Masters Of Their Own Fate

There is, and always has been, a large part of the population that doesn't realize who they really are, just simply assuming that 'they are'.

The human animal seems to have an edge over all the others of creation, but then again that could just be our self awareness talking, trying to convince ourselves we are special as it has since we shoplifted that awareness in the Garden. Science has proven other animals have emotions and can reason, so in that respect we are not unique. Nor are we unique in regards to the breath of life. All living things, as long as they are capable and receptive to the energy, are fuelled by this breath of life.

Genesis gives us a hint in that within each of us resides a bit of the spirit which is God. Being made in His image suggests that we should then function compatible to Him to a degree in order to communicate. It comes factory equipped but most ignore the feature even if they have read the manual. Other creatures of creation without this spirit, as Jesus said, can do no wrong as there is no conflict within their nature. The human animal on the other hand has had, right from the start, the dual nature of flesh and spirit which has created a path of confusion mankind has followed since the beginning.

From almost the start mankind chose to let it's animal nature not work in harmony with the spirit but to follow a path of self determination. Our way, not His. The spirit, not being by nature self oriented but selfless, simply sat back. Due to survival instincts common to most species, our direction was more often than not then one of being self centred rather than selfless. Selfless as the spirit itself is and would have us be. This conflict of course led to the isolation of mankind from the rest of the spiritual realm as one would quarantine a disease.

As a result God seems to have embarked on a plan of purification where the animal man could understand it's given nature and return to it. After an initial clean-up, first by flood, second by fire and so on, mankind was given early guidelines that reflected the spirit of God (the expanded versions of loving all as self) which convicted the ways of the flesh. Mankind, being mankind, struggled to overcome their fleshy nature, and while training their animal self to be more domesticated, it still often ignored their spirit within. Instead of letting God work through them, they struggled (even if to do good) to be masters of their own fate. The result being that God could not work through us if we were still running on the wrong frequency and self broadcasting.

Along comes the Son of God who epitomized the true example of the union of flesh and spirit. He not only enlightened mankind to the spirit within and said all man could be reborn to their true nature, but He offered the good news that the quarantine would be lifted to those who rejected the ways of the flesh for the ways of the spirit and that their spirits, being billions of unique extensions of the spirit which is God, would live on in the Kingdom. He opened the door for those seeking a cure while in quarantine. No longer mini gods but extensions of the one true God.

This was important because man had created religions to explain their being, giving themselves 'souls of self' in continuing to see us all as individuals rather than connected as extensions of God. As a result, seeking and serving a God OUTSIDE of themselves rather than within. The mini god mentality using God to justify our ways continued, while the concept of being conduits for God to work through, decreased. Also religion has a habit of focusing on itself. The followers of Jesus neither partook in the institutions of the day nor rebelled against them. They lived an alternative lifestyle free of the encumbrances of the traditional ways of mankind, focusing on others rather than on themselves, thus enabling themselves to focus more on the spirit rather than the flesh and it's ways.

By not recognizing the spirit within, the religion created a continuation of fleshy nature, building their concept of Heaven in their own image. To them, their true nature was still flesh, attaining their idea of godliness through fleshy concepts, where in reality they were already godliness trapped within flesh. And so the blind lead the blind.

Setting ourselves free is not a matter of attaining a state of godliness through discipline. Nor is it simply servitude to an outside force, this attainment being that which some call works, but simply in recognizing our spiritual self which is already God within us. Let His fingers do the walking in our daily outlook instead of us charging about like a bull in a china shop trying to create order out of our own chaos. Chaos cannot quell chaos. His will, not ours. Allow Him to do His thing through us. Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven.

Many religions recognize being part of God, but few seek God within and living accordingly to His ways, loving all as self. The preference instead seems to be an individual's 'saved' flesh in which the sins are forgiven but the spirit lies dormant. Yet this same 'saved' flesh still runs rampant within the institutions of man, using God for their purpose rather than changing itself to suit His will and switching to spirit mode.

Death here in our place of quarantine comes to all as the flesh corrupts. But the spirit that is of God lives on, and God will have no trouble renewing that of us which was recognized and respected by the flesh... while the spirit from those of the flesh who failed to recognize it, will be withdrawn and deleted, unclaimed and without data, and the flesh will be no more.

Failure to recognize God within ourselves may result in a life full of joy, accomplishment, accumulation and pleasure, but not all in quarantine will live beyond to tell the tale. They have had their reward.
