The Great Commandment
Love Never Fails

God's word provides us with guidance on a whole range of topics relating to love such as: relationships, marriage, family, children, strength, and love of others. The Bible says that God is love, which makes it the perfect source to learn how to love others, even those who are difficult for us. Our world has distorted the meaning of true love, but God's Word remains a steadfast, true source of knowledge on how to love. He revealed that knowledge to us, right there in His word, the Bible.

The ultimate source of all encouragement is that God's word is love. He loves us and has a perfect plan for us. Turn to God's word, the scripture from the Holy Bible about love in relation to God, Jesus Christ, and the Christian faith and begin seeing the change in your heart and mind.

—Luke 6:31
31
And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

—Luke 6:35
35
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

—John 8:13
13
The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.

—Matthew 12:31
31
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

—Romans 13:10
10
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

—1 Corinthians 13:4-8
4
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Love Never Fails by Brandon Heath

—1 Corinthians 13:13
13
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

—Ephesians 4:2
2
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

—1 Peter 4:8
8
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

—1 John 4:7
7
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

—1 John 4:18-19
18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19 We love him, because he first loved us.

—John 15:13
13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

—Ephesians 5:25
25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

—Ephesians 5:33
33
Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

—Colossians 3:14
14
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

—Proverbs 10:12
12
Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

—Proverbs 17:17
17
A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

—1 John 3:16-18
16
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
