WHAT AM I THANKFUL FOR?
LORD, Thank You For Loving Me
For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

John 3:16
Dear LORD, thank you for loving me and sending Jesus who suffered for my sins. Without Jesus who died in my place I would surely perish. Thank you dear LORD. In the power of the Holy Spirit. May God's will be done always. In Jesus' name. Amen
The Sinful Nature Of Man
Man is naturally rebellious against God. We have a natural inclination to sin. When choosing between whether we do God’s will or our own, natural man chooses his own will. Our flesh-and-blood existence here on this earth is shaped by our sinful and corrupt nature.
- Romans 8:3 (sinful flesh)
- Colossians 3:5 (list of earthy nature sins)
- Romans 6:6 (the body ruled by sin)
God's Self-sacrificing Love To Mankind
- He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? —Romans 8:32 (KJV)
- And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: —Genesis 22:16 (KJV)
- But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. —Malachi 4:2 (KJV)
Christ Died for Our Sins That We Might Die to Sin
- Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. —1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)
