What is faith?
"NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]." (Hebrews 11:1 AMPC). Faith is to be assured of the things you hope for, to see those things with spiritual eyes and expect them to manifest in reality. Faith is perceiving as reality those things that are yet to be understood by human senses. Faith is to firmly rely on God over a request. It is to trust God for the manifestation of our prayer requests irrespective of their magnitude.
"For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37 NKJV). Faith is the realm where the God of possibility meets a man of possibility. This kind of special meeting will always result in the miraculous. Elijah was such a man of possibility that believes in the God of possibility. Little wonder he walked in miracles.
"So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God." (Mark 11:22 NKJV)
Faith that wrought the miraculous is not a standalone one, it is the firm trust in God.
ACTION PLAN: Seek the will of God for your life, then pray to Him about them. Trust Him for their manifestations and you shall have your requests.
PRAYER: Father, deliver me from unbelief, faithlessness and doubt.
