July 19th Morning Prayer

Father, God, You know all about Yourself. You know how great You are. I don't have to tell You for Your sake, except for the praise and worship You are due. I have to tell You for my sake, as a reminder to myself of how great and deserving You are. You are perfect in every way, therefore I should have no complaints about anything concerning You. When we disagree on anything, obviously You are always in the right, and it is I that needs to conform to You, for my good, for Your thoughts toward me are for my good, Jer 29:11. There is so much more good going on in my life, than the bad the world and the flesh and the devil can try to produce in it. This is all because of Your goodness to me. Anything bad in my life is not of You, and it will only last so, so small of a time in comparison to the eternal glory with You that lies ahead. "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us (me)." Ro 8:18. In the meantime I still have You indwelling me, never to leave me or forsake me (Ro 8:9; Heb 13:5); nothing being able to separate me from Your love (Ro 8:35). Lord, Jesus, thank You for interceding for me (Ro 8:34), for praying for me (Jn 17:20) for abiding with me, for manifesting Yourself to me (Jn 14:22). In some regards, You have opened my understanding, that I might understand the Scriptures, Lk 24:45. You have been so gracious to me, patient with me, as would be expected of a perfect father. As I leave off of this blog, may You keep reminding me of Your presence, so that we can keep interacting with one another, and I can be walking in the light (1Jn 1:7), walking in the Spirit (Ga 5:25), beholding Your beauty, inquiring of You, Ps 27:4; that I should not henceforth live unto (my)self, but unto You which died for (me) 2C0 5:15; walking in truth (3Jn 4); walking in love (2Jn 5,6). Amen.
