My life has been really blazing quickened these last few weeks, Jesus. I get to this place and try to guard my tongue from asking You to slow down, because I believe in times like these, I can ask and receive, THAT MUCH ! The Joy is palpable. Thank YOU for these days in my Life.
You have been validating and raising and readying me for promotion, I can see the familiar patterns in the creaking and stretching of current parameters and boundaries and the discomfort of those around me. It's always the same. The Presence of Your Quickening alarms those who don't know You as intimately yet, when it is surrounding my footfalls. They squirm in the unconcious sensing of Your Power and the lack of ascription of it to anything they can call by name, Your Name. But like an electric static that raises the hair on our forearms, they are irritated by the sensation and they rail at me. Me, because the irriataion seems to be located around me when You are doing this in my walk..... and then there are those.... those excellent Pillars on the Land in my Christian ejkklhsiva, who come in peace, with scripture reassurance on their tongues and embraces in their eyes. They, too, have been forward and active and busy in You these past weeks. Bearing gifts of encouragement and even one offer to embrace promotion.... this offer I consider with gravity for Your leading, as this is one of those times when You may have ushered me to a precipice of great joy and burdensome new responsibility that will change my world.... again. Missions, an International leader in the field within my circle's grasp. An offer to meet this mentor of great import in my life and a word that they need to meet me ! Please, divide that word and show me if that were the enthusiasm of the flesh of this friend or if it were Your rJh'ma . Thank You, Jesus, for Your hope to make that clear to me. Allow me receptivity in all these things.
I fought a LOT of wars to get here with You, Jesus. I am always in the realm of placement where everyone around me asks, "What are you doing HERE?" I find that both annoying and burdensome. I've been around that mountain SOOO many times. It always ends up the same way. I feel like the kid that ends up on the team three levels below his potential and finds stretching unnecessary and teammates angry at him. You know the many ways you have clipped me. You know the many times I have sacrificed to bring another with me. You know where I belong. I am TRUSTING You to shape me, every day. There is a great PEACE in that trust, Jesus. If I am wasting my life and my potential as everyone says, then offer me promotion and the courage to accept it. If I am exactly where You want me, then I can't think of any BETTER ONE on whom to waste my life, than YOU, MY God, my Lord, My Second Adam and First Man. The sole owner, proprietor and source of my every breath and heartbeat. I Love You, lead me on. And thanks for all the darkness that has shaped me, because in Your illumination of it, I HAVE LEARNED the voice of Suffering's Children and Your presence accessible in all things. Psalm 139:7 If India IS in my future, as I have been offered.... grant me wings of steel for Your battles and humble grace for Your victories. Let me walk as the meek, who await Your resolution. Let me walk as the humble, who stay under things until You lift them. Temper my tendancy for 'steamrolling' and help me to go forward in Your peace manifest with Your Favor and Your confidence, for YOUR GLORY! amen.
