Job Submits Himself To God
God's Sovereignty And Humanity's Struggle In The Midst Of Suffering
We all experience emotional or physical pain some time in our lives. No pain is alike. Christians (sinners/saved) must all walk the journey and path that God has planned for us. Much as God promised Job that there is a purpose in all pain we are called upon to glorify God above all else. In Christ, it is possible to embrace each day knowing God loves us and wants to use the hurt and pain in this world to bring Him glory.
1 Then Job answered the Lord, and said, 2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. 3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. —Job 42:1-3

Encouragement
God's Holy Word can help us understand the purpose of the pain or suffering in our lives and encourage us to find joy in the middle of torment. Please don't give up hope, God has so much more for us in our lives:
- He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. —Psalms 147:3
- The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. —Psalms 34:18
- For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. —Jeremiah 29:11
- He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. —Revelation 21:4

We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
