With the 1,000 Year coming soon it is important to prepare ourselves now to be sure we know God's Word completely on a basic level: that way the generations of children after us will not suffer the second death by falling for the final deceptions of Satan after the end of the 1,000 Year Reign of Christ. That being said why is there so much confusion regarding the temple and animal sacrifices? At times like these it is important to go back to the basics and words of Christ:
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The first underlined part is man's usual response to Christ's teachings: we think we know better and therefore believe that Jesus has no need to follow through with atonement for sins since He never sinned. The second underlined part is Jesus correcting our understanding by showing us that a leader cannot expect his followers to go where he himself will not go: therefore God spoke in approval with His Son's conduct.
When concerning the millennial temple spoken of in the prophets many become disturbed with the idea of animal sacrifices especially since Christ became the perfect sacrifice to atone for sins. Seeing that God could not dwell with man since we defiled the previous temples of God and the tabernacle: is it any surprise that God plans on constructing a new temple in order to dwell with man? And wouldn't it be right of God to put things in proper order as He established them? After the chaotic rule of Satan over man, I am ready for order and have long awaited it. No more failed systems from man is the promise that the millennial reign promises and prepares us for.
When we read Revelation John tells us that The Lamb and God are the Temple; in the Gospel of John Jesus refers to His Body as the Temple; and, in Genesis Adam is the Temple. God's plan has been very simple from the beginning: to dwell with man so that He may be our God and we His people. Adam being covered by animal skins showed that God would cover the sin of mankind; which pointed forward to Jesus atoning for the sin of man; which pointed to God erasing sin once and for all after the millennial reign.
The big take away here folks is that John tells us that the Temple will finally be done away with after the millennial reign: and this is consistent with what Christ spoke when He said that nothing would pass from the law until all things be fulfilled: therefore since Temple Prophecy of the prophets has not been fulfilled animal sacrifices will be present during the Millennial Reign of God and Christ on earth.
