Jesus And The Art Of War (part 2)

Alright so, continuing from where we left off let us out our detective hats on. When investigating a murder scene we must ask ourselves 'Who would benefit from the death the most?', in the case of Adam and Eve how would the Serpent benefit from the death of Adam and Eve? The Serpent was the wisest of all the animals and he enjoyed the same benefits as they did but what made Adam and Eve special? Two things:

1) They were made in the Image and Likeness of God.

2) They had dominion overall living things in the heavens, the earth, and the sea.

What this means in short is that God put man second in command over all that He had made. So, did the Serpent succeed?

"And they heard the voice of the YHWH God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the YHWH God amongst the trees of the garden. And the YHWH God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wastnaked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And the YHWH God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. And the YHWH God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living."
- Genesis 3:8-20

Well...looks like no one benefited and were all cursed. Seeing as the Serpent was already wise who could have convinced him of such an evil scheme? None of the animals in the sea nor the earth could have convinced him so, could one from heaven have convinced him?

"And it shall come to pass in the day that the YHWH shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve, That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! The YHWH hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers. He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hindereth. The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing. Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us. Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; thatopened not the house of his prisoners? All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities. For I will rise up against them, saith the YHWH of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the YHWH. I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the YHWH of hosts."
- Isaiah 14:3-22

Who is this strange character Lucifer? Is he a man or an angel? From the context it seems that this Lucifer sought the Throne of God for himself and used the king of Babylon to carry out his scheme. But do we have more proof of this?

"The word of the YHWH came again unto me, saying, Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord YHWH; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God: behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee: With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: by thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches: Therefore thus saith the Lord YHWH; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas. Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee. Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord YHWH. Moreover the word of the YHWH came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord YHWH; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more."
- Ezekiel 28:1-19

We see from the two prophets above that God is addressing the character Lucifer who is controlling the king of Babylon from behind the scenes. This Lucifer existed in heaven and walked in the garden of Eden before Adam and Eve did. Those stones also happen to be the same stones that the High Priest wore. From the evidence thus far we can conclude that this Lucifer is not a man nor a god as he coveted the Throne of God and the priesthood. In order to control the king of Babylon we have hints of Lucifer promising the king with riches, glory, and the Throne of God. Is there anymore evidence revealing this mysterious character?

"Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him."
- Matthew 4:1-11

This interaction between Jesus and Satan is an eerie reminder of the interaction between Eve and the Serpent but, in this instance Jesus did not eat the forbidden fruit like Adam and Eve. We have some strong evidence pointing to Satan as being in the garden of Eden a first time so, is it possible that He entered a second time? When did Lucifer become Satan?

"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."

- Revelation 12:9-10

Finally we see that Lucifer is none other than The Great Dragon Satan! It was Satan who deceived himself into usurping the Throne of God and he also seems to have promised his angels glory and riches if they aided him in his scheme. Since Satan was unsuccessful in his plot in heaven, he sought to turn the Serpent and mankind against each other! Yet this division was not complete for now with man and animals banished from Eden it was a matter of dividing animals against one another, mankind against each other; and, as Satan had already turned the angels of heaven against one another: Satan needed to turn the whole world against itself. Yet how would Satan be able to accomplish his strategy of usurping God's Throne? By promising immortality, divinity, riches, power, and control over the whole world. This dream was nearly accomplished with the Tower of Babel where Satan would allow man to war in heaven where Satan could eat from the Tree of Life and get man to assassinate his puppet king with the Tree of Death. When we observe world history all world empires and kings sought to rule the whole world from Babylon and Egpyt. And in the end it is Mystery Babylon who will seek to ascend into heaven in the last days. At the Tower of Babel we see signs of multiculturalism, the height of civilization, technology, art, and the idea of man without God by making ourselves gods. Our world today is repeating history: except this time New Babylon will be destroyed once and for all with Satan in eternal fire. The main Antichrist has always been Satan and will simply be using his puppet antichrists as distractions from the truth of his evil and subtle schemes.

Thank God He has revealed to us the plans of the enemy but, what should we do?
