Salvation does not equal: Claiming to have prayed a sinner’s prayer, water baptism, sacraments, tithes and offerings, becoming a member of a church, keeping the Sabbath, missionary work, and all other forms of works pressed upon those who are called and chosen according to the good purpose of the one true living Creator of all things, the Almighty God.

“For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.” Romans 3:28
“For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.” Ephesians 2:8-10

“Brothers, consider the time of your calling: Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were powerful; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly and despised things of the world, and the things that are not, to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast in His presence. It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God: our righteousness, holiness, and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:26-31

Stop believing that there is ANYTHING you can do to justify or sustain your salvation. Humble and empty yourselves of all that you are to allow Christ to fill you with all that He is! Become the simple servant He wants you to be. Do not be foolish as the religious minded people have been since the beginning of time! Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and mind and do not lean on your understanding or the understanding of others, even if you believe they mean well!
