It seems that people fail to realize what the god of this world which man has made has always been... self serving. When a leader familiar with Christian principles knows full well that an issue of government goes against Christian teachings, yet has been given no choice but to follow the ideals of man, one can see how impossible it is for mankind on a national scale, let alone global, to follow the will of God over the will of man.
So having no control over anything but ourselves and having only the power to change ourselves and act in isolation from the world which man has made in our own image; which should we really support, the institutions of man or the institution that is the Kingdom? This can also be an issue for Christians come election time. Should they focus on the ideals and governance of man or the ideals and governance of the Kingdom? After all, they are two opposing systems. Can we be loyal to both?
