Ignoring God's Grace

"As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it." (2 Corinthians 6:1 NLT)

Paul was practically begging the Corinthian Christians not to receive the grace of God in vain. It is possible to receive God's grace and go about life as though it does not exist. Our walk with God will be diffucult, if not impossible, if we keep ignoring His grace. What does it mean to ignore?
IGNORE: to refuse to take notice of (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). Here is God's grace, you received it as a gift, you came to God through Christ, then you continue to live your life without taking notice of it. You continued your life as though you have not received anything.
It is frustrating to see someone receive a timely gift from you (something they needed badly), but refused to use the gift for the purpose it was intended, thereby continuing to suffer loss. God has given us grace to serve Him, through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It will be frustrating if you go about trying to serve Him outside His grace. You will actually become hypocrite and accuse everyone to be the same as you are.
After turning to Christ, you are no longer helpless against sin. All the power in heaven is available to keep you from going back into sin, the world and Satan. Even the human nature that has troubled you all along, has now become powerless in your life.

ACTION PLAN: How well have you maximise the grace of God? Repent and engage His grace always to live a holy life.

PRAYER: Father, help me to maximise your grace all the days of my life.
