I Awaken To Our World

I awaken to the world
And I need its love
And there's much I need
To give to our Lord above

I need to say thanks
For each part of my life
The past, the present, and future
My dear loving wife

The lessons I earned
The tears I learned
Forgiveness to myself
And others

I've yearned to be better
day after day
This is more-so the reason
I awake just to pray
