- As a kid, I didn't know how to blow my nose properly. I'd blow my nose hard making my eyes watery and get air coming out of my ears. This made things worse for me without me noticing it. I learned that I must blow my nose gently in order to get the mucus to come out. My eyes wasn't watery, and air was coming out of my ears.
- As a kid, I didn't take a shower because I wasn't told to. Now, I take a shower weekly. I took a shower with lukewarm water for 10-15 minutes with the warmest water possible. I inhale and exhale, filling my lungs and nasal passages with steam.
- I didn't always sleep on my back. Instead, I slept on my side. I heard sleeping on your side makes the stuffiness worst. I didn't know this until now. Now, I sleep on my back.
