Evil spreads so fast, it seems; love? Not so much.
Pray to be better carriers of good than evil, sharing stories of good acts rather than stories of wickedness. Stop reading news stories about shootings & hatred; that only spreads Satan's sick reign. Share stories of the Saints, share stories of heroism, of love & compassion. When you talk about your day at work, don't complain about your co-workers; laugh about the funny conversation at lunch, commend someone for putting in extra effort, hold back from making judgements on anyone.
Matthew Kelley, in his wonderful book Rediscover Catholicism, mentioned several things to change before our lives will change. One crucial thing: the stories we tell.
1 Peter: "Be hospitable to one another without complaint."
James: "Do not complain, brethren, against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing right at the door."
St. Paul to the Philippians: "Do all things without grumbling or disputing... "
Remember, God has little presence in us if we do not welcome Him.
Remember also, satan has no presence in us if we do not welcome him!
