House Renovations

Matthew 7:12 ESV

“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”

We, as followers of Jesus Christ, are to be unselfish, loving, kind, considerate of others, generous, compassionate, and merciful, etc. We are to love others with the kind of love that Jesus has for us, which is pure, righteous, holy, moral, upright, honest, and trustworthy, etc. Thus, we will not wish for others or for ourselves what is immoral, wicked, hateful, selfish, or abusive, which uses others for our advantage to fulfill our lusts and greed.

Matthew 7:13-14 ESV

“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”

The narrow gate to heaven is the way of the cross of Jesus Christ. It is the way of death to sin and self, and living to God and to his righteousness, in his power and under his control (his Lordship). It is the way of salvation from our sins, which not only forgives us our sins, but which delivers us from our slavery to sin so that we no longer walk in the ways of the flesh, but in the ways of the Spirit of God, living holy lives, pleasing to God.

But, there is a broad road/gate which is being taught today as though it is the true way of salvation. But, it makes no demands of death to sin or living to righteousness. No repentance or obedience to Christ are required. For, it provides easy access to heaven by way of a cheap grace gospel which promises its adherents eternal life with God based on a lie, which then leaves them still dead in their sins and bound for hell, not heaven.

For, you see, the narrow way, which is the true way to God and to heaven is restricted. It demands holiness. It calls for righteous living. It does not entertain sin, or coddle it, but it puts it to death. For, Jesus died that we might die to sin and live to righteousness, not that we would use his sacrifice for our sins as an excuse to continue in our sinful addictions. For, this is not the easy way of the flesh, but it is the way of the Spirit and of putting the flesh to death. And, it is hard because it involves death to ourselves, and it involves persecution and suffering for the sake of righteousness, too.

Many travel this broad road thinking they are on the right path to heaven, but they are mistaken, for this broad road of easy-believism, which allows one to hold on to his old life of living for sin and self, leads to destruction. But, the way of the cross, and the path of suffering, is not followed by the majority, but by the minority. Yet, it leads to eternal life with God.

Matthew 7:15-23 ESV

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”

There are many false prophets (teachers) in our churches and outside the church who are pushing this broad road, this easy way of the flesh, and many are buying into it, because it feels good, and because they can keep on in their sins without guilt and without remorse. But, what they don’t realize is that this comes straight from the pit of hell. And, it is of Satan, because he wants to keep people trapped in sin, and he has no conscience about lying to them, too, to keep them right where he wants them.

Satan wants to keep them “chilled out” and focused on pleasing self, on being entertained continuously, without concern for righteousness or holiness. He wants them to be like him, i.e. emotionless, unsympathetic, unmoved by God, heartless, cruel, and hate-filled. He wants them continuously plugged in to the media so that they don’t think for themselves, and so he can tell them what to think and how to believe. He wants them, too, to continually be stirred up, frightened, confused, and in turmoil, for this serves his purposes, as well.

He doesn’t want us caring about others and treating them with compassion and kindness. He wants us fighting with one another, and so he uses his workers of iniquity to keep things stirred up all the time, pitting one people group against another.

He wants to keep us refraining from sharing the true gospel, too, on the premise that we don’t want to offend anyone with the truth. And, he wants us still walking in darkness. So, he will put down what is holy and righteous, and demonize it, and he will lift up what is wicked, immoral, impure, and debase, because he wants to satisfy the thirsts of the flesh, and so he gives people what they crave.

Yet, he and his prophets will disguise themselves as servants of righteousness and of truth and honor in order to deceive the masses into believing their lies and to get them to follow them and their ways, instead. But, Satan is the destroyer, and he is out to destroy God’s people. And, his servants (his false prophets) work for him to do his dirty work. So, they will pull out all the stops to try to convince us to come their way, the easy way, but if we do, we must know it leads to destruction.

For, just because we say we believe in Jesus, or we think we have prayed a prayer to receive Christ, or just because we make a public declaration of Jesus as Lord of our lives does not mean he is our Savior or our Lord or that we believe in him with God-given (divinely persuaded) faith. For, we will all reap what we sow. If we sow to please the flesh, from the flesh we will reap destruction. But, if we sow to please the Spirit, then we will reap eternal life.

Matthew 7:24-27 ESV

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

There are many foolish people today who have built their lives and their earthly kingdoms on the sand, and when the test of time comes, and it will, when God will bring his judgments on the people of the earth, they will fall, for their faith was not in Jesus, but in the flesh. For, their lives are in disarray, filled up to the brim with entertainment, immorality, sexual addiction, selfishness, idolatry and the like.

But, God is bringing these judgments. For, he has allowed a beast, a conglomerate of the wealthy and powerful of the world, to form and to take over (conquer) the nations and peoples of the world and to persecute and kill Christ’s true followers (the ones on the narrow road).

This beast has been and is continuing to put to death people’s rights to life and to freedoms to worship God unchallenged, rights that these elitists helped to initiate many years ago. But, now they are on the path to put these to death along with independent governments, and the true gospel of salvation, and the true church of Jesus Christ, too. And, we are now in the final stages of this beast coming to full dictatorship over the entire world.

One of the ways (the M.O.) of this beast is to fake uprisings, create chaos and unrest, plot out false flag operations, fake terrorist attacks, etc. so that they have an excuse to go into nations to take them over. And, that is now what is taking place in the USA, too, with all this junk that is going on with our president and with our government who serve this beast which then serves Satan. It is fully within the realm of possibility that they will plan out another 9/11 so that the beast can take over the US government.

The America we have always known won’t be long for this world, for change is coming in the way of the rule of this beast, and human rights will be suspended, and people will be forced to bow to this beast or lose their lives. So, this beast will be making “house renovations” to the USA. But, God is going to use this for his purposes to make “house renovations” of his own. For, his purpose in all of this is to revive his church and to turn their hearts back to him, and that many more people might be saved before he returns to take his bride to be with him for eternity.

He Gives Purpose

An Original Work / June 9, 2012

“Listen to Me when I’m calling to you.
Obey freely My word.
Follow Me in all of My ways.
Do all that I say.
Hear Me gently whisper to you
My will for your life and future.
Give all of your life and heart to
Follow Me always.”

Repent of your sins and worship Jesus.
He’s your Lord and Master.
He died for your sins so you could
Live with Him today.
He has a plan for your life and
He gives purpose and direction.
He gives meaning to your life,
So follow Him today.

“I love you so much I gave My life for
You to walk in My ways,
Living for Me each day as you
Bow to Me and pray.
Witness for Me of your love for Me and
Of My grace and mercy,
How I died to save you of your
Sins now and always.”
