Hope

anguish everywhere
death's stench present in the air
despair seeping from every pore
just can't take it anymore​

then
something
on mighty wing
brilliant
and resilient​

here
there
eminating from everywhere​

warm with comfort
touching hearts with strength and love
riding tall and strong
from eternal paths
it's preciousness belongs​

never to our death would it surrender
bringing love and peace
reminding us to rememember
coming gallantly like a knight
with strength and might​

this mighty power
in every second, minute and hour​

His name is Hope
He is Jesus​
