Hope Of Eternal Salvation

"For in [this] hope we were saved. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For how can one hope for what he already sees?" (Romans 8:24 AMPC)

We were saved in the hope that has the Father glorified His Son, He will also glorify us. Hope is to expect with confidence (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). We must be persuaded to expect this with confidence in God.
If is here and now, it is no longer hope. Hope is the rope that connects us to the future. Once it is intact, we will surely enter into its manifestation. The children of Israel lost sight of it in the wilderness and perished therein. Hopelessness is a dangerous state that must never befall a child of God.
Even is faith is a derivative of hope (Hebrews 11:1). When you have hope for something, then faith can rise in your heart for it. Hopelessness often lead to faithlessness.
The ultimate hope we must keep alive is that of our eternal salvation. This is what Jesus died on the Cross to secure for us.

ACTION PLAN: What do you hope to become in God's hands? Have you been able to find His plans for your life? Hold on to Him and His promises, He will never fail you.

PRAYER: Father deliver me from hopelessness. Restore my hope in you.
