This blog is about the emptiness feeling in ourselves that we cant seem to fill ourselves.
Have you ever had this problem. Many people deny it or just push it aside. They keep trying to do things in their life that would fill the gap inside their hearts but unfortunatly after a certain time passes away they find that the emptiness comes back and at times feeling even worse.
It is an ongoing cycle that I went through when I was younger. I used to buy things for myself or do anything that I can to fill that gap that was missing from myself.
You need to understand that we were created specifically to walk with the Lord. whether you choose to or not that is up to you but that is what we were created for, was for fellowship.
When the fall of adam and eve came about they died spiritually, they list that connection between themselves and God. Thats what it means to be spiritually dead. An absense from God.
So now you have something missing from our lives because we through them became spiritually dead as well. we lost that Gap in our lives which was God.
So what does man do? He searches endlessly to find that missing piece of themselves, when in truth it was God all along. People look in the wrong direction to fill that part of themselves.
Lets take Solomon for example. He was a King that had everything that anyone can ever want. He had it all. But He realized that God was the missing part of His life.
This teaches us something that nothing in this world that we search for will fill that gap.
What we need to do is repent from our sins, and get right with God.
Fill yourself up with His Word. Let Him fill that gap that has been missing from your life all along.
It is up to you whether you want that fullfilling or not.
The choice is yours my friends.
He is a huge part of us and without Him, we really are more empty than you think
