God's Faithfulness In A Church Of God Of Prophecy

The Caribbean people were so friendly and hospitable. They made us so welcome! It was a joy to meet in homes for fellowship and prayer,as well as the Sunday meetings in a Church room. It was in late 2002 that I was diagnosed with a tumour in my right kidney that was cancerous, growing up towards my aorta and down towards my bowels. How those people prayed for me and many friends elsewhere. In hospital the Pastor and his wife came to visit me,despite being blind and suffering kidney disease himself. Each day members of the church came to visit and encourage me. I had my right kidney and the cancer removed and it was believed that God had more for me to do for him and when I got better I assisted the Pastor in the ministry and church. The church was able to purchase an old building from Assemblies of God,that was up for sale and renovations were made to it and an evangelistic mission conducted. The Church appointed me as the Assistant Pastor and we enjoyed happy times there for three years.
