@St_Worm2, thank God for your testimony in Christ. Thank God for His Holy Word that reveals His plan, his handbook for how man (and woman) should live in obedience to His Word. May we all, as believers, live and grow daily in Christ as he transforms us and prepares us for eternity in heaven, where we will sing praises to God and glorify His Holy Name without the encumbrances of this worldly flesh.

Let us pray that while we live in this world, when we stumble, that God's truth, His Word, and His Loving arms will catch us, and His Mighty Hand will guide us back unto the path of righteousness. Thank God for you for sharing the verses from the Apostle Paul and the Psalmist David, who bemoans the vicious words of his adversaries, and in contrast praises the pure and precious Word of God. God bless you and your home.

O LORD, In the morning will I direct my prayer unto Thee, and will look up... (Psalms 5:1-3)

Excellent admonishment Pilgrim :) I also like St. Paul's comment concerning this ("loving others within the limits that truth allows") in 1 Corinthians 13 (see v6), "Love .. does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth". A timeless truth that is especially important in the kind of world we live in today, yes .. cf Psalm 12:8.

Even the Buddhists believe life is suffering so get rid of your desires to stop the sufferings. This is why Jesus died so you wouldn't suffer in hell.

Hi Mathinspiration, while it's true that Jesus died so that those who believe/trust Him wouldn't end up in Hell, I think that's really just a side-benefit (if you will). First and foremost, He died to save us from our sins in this life (IOW, to give us the power & desire not to sin, to overcome our "old self" and sinful lifestyle), and to "reconcile" us to His Father (and thereby save us from His Father's "wrath" in the age to come .. Romans 5:8-10).
