God Loves You

Even as Moses lifted the serpent's image up on the wilderness even so must the Son of Man be lifted up because God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that all who believe in him would not die but have everlasting life.
John 3:14 & 16.

This I know I can say unequivocally and without remorse: God loves you.

There is nothing to add to this statement for the love God has for you has nothing to do with your current state, whether good or bad, or righteous or sinful. It is an unfortunate addition that says that God loves you as you are for it is misleading and actually has nothing to do with God's love for you.

God's love is plainly seen in this: that he pours the rain on the just and the unjust. He has sustained all things since the beginning and mankind exists by the love of God.

Yet today we know by the witness of those who walked with him that God, in his love, reaches out further through the gift of his son to us since, by sin, we have lost the eternal rewards of that love.

We have all sinned and there is no one who is righteous, not even one, except for the son who he gave to be a public spectacle and the pivotal point of our redemption. We are all like lost sheep straying into jeopardy and destruction, whether by wild beast, accident, lack or age.

So God sent his son to rescue us and to be a light guiding us back into the way of salvation that leads to everlasting life.

This is how God extended his love to you and I through his invitation to everlasting life through the transformation of our being from the physical to the heavenly, and this he does following physical death for we must undress ourselves of the physical and put on that which is everlasting.

God will maintain you by his love as he has done since the beginning of time, sustaining you to the point of physical death. He has always and will always give rain and sunshine, seedtime and harvest, until the end of this present age. However he offers you far more through Jesus Christ.

Death: both of the body and the soul; the first and the second, are the result of sin but life comes by Jesus Christ.

Jesus died for you to show that God loves you for, by his death, you can receive everlasting life and we know this is true for Jesus not only died but rose again on the third day as proof that all who believe have everlasting life.

This is everlasting life that we have believed in him, and in God, and are being transformed by him from the physical to the spiritual. There is much to say about this transformation but that can be for another time, today is the day to be born of God through believing in Jesus Christ who died for you.

Do you want this life God offers you [for you may reject it by unbelief]? Then believe in his son who he sent for he did not send his son into the world to damn it, but to save.

God loves you. You have that. Do you want the everlasting rewards of that love, which he offers by Jesus Christ? Receive the offer by believing in him.
