God Is Faithful Against Our Enemies

'For my enemies speak against me. Those who want to kill me conspire together' (Psalms 71:10)...............The Psalmist had his enemies. We are not told who the writer of Psalms 71 was,but Charles H Spurgeon and others believed it was David,the Shepherd boy,who became King of Israel. He certainly had his enemies, including giant,Goliath and the Philistines,the nation's opposed to God's people,Israel,King Saul who wanted to kill him and many others. .................We all have our enemies. We are,as soldiers of the King of Kings,in a spiritual battle,between good and evil. Satan and his evil doers are our foes. The devil comes to 'kill,steal and destroy',but our Lord Jesus Christ came to 'give us life and life in all its' fullness!'...... ....... Although our enemies conspire against us,because we are servants of our Master,'Jesus is stronger than Satan or sin,Satan to Jesus must bow and so we triumph without and within,Jesus saves us now! Sorrow and pain may beset me about,nothing can darken my brow. Battling in faith I can joyfully sing,'Jesus saves me now' (A C Downer)
