God Is A Square

The Question is: What are Spiritual Laws, and how does someone go about finding them?

Spiritual Truth

In addressing Spiritual Law we are going to throw out all questions and doubt about the existence of God. The Bible asserts Truth. We are going to answer the question with the premise the Bible is Truth and God is reality. I will give some statements that are true with some short videos or articles to aid in understanding.

God is Holy and Separate from sin. What does it mean to be Holy?

Short Video: "God's Holiness" The Bible Project.

Holiness is a form of purity. It means being clean. Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Sin angers God. The Sun could be used as an allegory for God, and the closer someone gets to God, the more intense it gets. To be in the presence of God in an impure state may mean death and/or a lot of pain.

God being separate from sin, God does not lie. God spoke and something was created. There is The Power of The Tongue. We have The WORD of God.

In the Bible, when God gives instructions, someone should follow instructions. Given God says only a Levite may touch the Ark, then only a Levite should touch the Ark. When Uzzah touches the Ark he dies.

  • The LORD's anger burned against Uzzah because of his irreverent act; therefore God struck him down, and he died there beside the ark of God. (2 Samuel 6:7)

God gives clear Instructions to a Prophet. A man walks the line. The Prophet became sidetracked. He was mauled by a Lion.

  • When the prophet who had brought him back from his journey heard of it, he said, "It is the man of God who defied the word of the LORD. The LORD has given him over to the lion, which has mauled him and killed him, as the word of the LORD had warned him." (1 Kings 13:26)

God has righteous anger. Getting into Spiritual Law and Philosophy we have: Thumos and Holy Fire.

In studying the Bible we come to an understanding of what Holy means. We come to an understanding of who God is, and what makes him angry. God is a square. God says something or says something through a Prophet, then it happens. This is important to understanding Spiritual Law.

God is a Square. In the 1950's or so, a square was someone who dressed well, was polite, respected his elders, was capable of following directions, and was probably set up to be productive and successful in life. The rebel, the Counter Cultural guy, saw "The Square" as lame. The Counter Culture was about rebellion. Rebellion against Judeo-Christian Tradition. Rebellion of man against God and into spiritualism, gurus, and new age. Rebellion of children from their parents. Rebellion of wives against their husbands. Rebellion against righteousness and good living, and embracing of sin and debauch and wickedness. God is a square.

In the US Military the saying is "Square yourself away soldier." This roughly translates into "You are Wrong," and "Fix yourself." A squared away soldier would be one that meets the standards. In the Army, if someone doesn't meet the standard, they get chastised or rebuked. The Counter Culture embraces moral relativism. Given there is no standard, it is hard to chastise and rebuke someone? No moral person is tolerant of everything. A man has to draw the line? God already had a line for acceptable conduct.

Sergeant Major in the US Army is said to be like God. He is the highest enlisted rank. He earned his position by proven displays of leadership, professionalism, and keeping the standards. Sergeant Major loves the Standards and the rules of the US Army? There is Freedom in The Lord. Someone who loves God's Law, Justice, and Righteousness may be given freedom and authority. Like Sergeant Major, he keeps the standards and looks after soldiers?

God is a Judge like a Judge in a Courtroom. He is your Honor or The Honorable. It is hip to be square.

Spiritual Laws

As a introduction to The Spiritual or The Principalities, I like: "Spiritual Realms."

Because of my connection with God, reading The Torah, I may end up seeing Spiritual Laws. All of The Laws of Moses were due to Spiritual Laws. What is Holy and Good and what is not? How does God work? What is happening in the Principalities?

  • "If a bull gores a man or woman to death, the bull is to be stoned to death, and its meat must not be eaten. But the owner of the bull will not be held responsible. (Exodus 21:28)

It was around 1300 BC. A bull gores a man. What does the owner do? That is a lot of good meat? It was a good bull? It would be more practical to either save the bull or eat the meat?

Man is made in the image of God. What man does may reflect into the spiritual. The Spiritual may be said to be like a mirror. Looking at the Prophets, Isaiah walked naked through the streets of Jerusalem for three years. Why? Man is made in the image of God. A man working in obedience to God is giving God authority, and he is reflecting something. Isaiah walked naked through the streets to show the nakedness Jerusalem would endure in bondage. Jeremiah walked around with an Ox Yoke around his neck for similar reasons.

What was going on in the world during the time of Abraham Isaac and Jacob and the establishment of the Nation of Israel? There was Moloch Worship which involved child sacrifice to a bull headed god. There was The Minotaur of Knossos whom Athens was sending virgins to. In the Principalities, there was something going on with a spirit or demon that revealed itself as a bull? In the New Testament we see that Jesus cast out spirits into pigs. (Matthew 8:31,32) We know that demons can posses animals. In understanding Exodus 21:28, there may have been something going on with possession, and something going on with a spirit that was represented with a bull. The man that follows direction God gave may be blessed. The man that doesn't may end up conflicted or possessed?

Some modern day music artists who some would say are into the Occult or Satanism, in their videos, have men dressed with animal masks. Kesha in "Praying" and Taylor Swift "Look What You Made Me Do" are two most recent ones I am aware of at this time. The imagery of people wearing animal masks symbolizes some sort of possession?

In general, this is how I have gone about finding and understanding Spiritual Law with God.

Blood Covers Sins

One Spiritual Law is Blood Covers Sins. Abel sacrifice lambs to God. In the Bible, Israel sacrificed animals to God. Why? Blood Covers Sins. Pagans also sacrifice animals to God. Why? Blood Covers Sins. Pagans also sacrificed human beings. Why? There is where Satan is. Satan is a liar and deceiver. The Spiritual Law is Blood Covers Sins. Is it just any blood? Given men are sacrificing each other, to some extent, would God be forced to honor something?

The following is complex, and I don't know I have all the words to fully explain it, but I will show you what God has shown me:

Abel sacrifices a lamb. Abel is the the First Murder. Son of Man is translated Son of Adam. Would Abel be Son of Man? The Lord is a Shepherd?

Abraham is told to sacrifice his son Isaac. God is testing his heart. There was something evil going on in the world with human sacrifice. A Prophet or Man of God is heart powered. God test your heart. Abraham had to be willing to obey. In Abraham's obedience, something was set in the principalities.

Jesus Christ is God's sacrificial lamb for your sins. Did you sacrifice a child to Moloch today or a friend to a Viking or Celtic Deity? Did the Aztecs raid your village for human sacrifices? Thank The Lord Jesus Christ, God's Sacrificial Lamb for your sins.
