Genesis Vs Evolution Part Viii

Genesis 1:17-19

“And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that [it was] good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”

Genesis 1:17-19 – Hebrew direct translation in English:

“and·he-is-giving, them, Elohim, in·atmosphere, the·heavens, on, the·earth, and·to-rule-of, in·the·day, and·in·the·night, and·to·to-separate-of, between, the·light, and·between, the·darkness, and·he-is-seeing, Elohim, that, good, and·he-is-becoming, evening, and·he-is-becoming, morning, day, fourth”

Logic problem: In the first “day” of creation, according to Genesis, God makes light (Day) and darkness (Night) and separates them. However, here in the fourth “day” God makes the Sun, Moon, and all the Stars (which give off light). If you share the New Earth beliefs, “literal” Earth and Heaven were created on the first “day”. How then can you have night and day without a sun? How can you have a 24hr period without a sun or an earth (remember without form and void, literally)? How can you have a 24hr day prior to Genesis 1:14-15 and the beginning of time? God states that night and day were created in the first day. In the fourth day of creation the Sun and Moon are given RULE over the Night and Day which were previously created. This is where I suggest you go back and read Genesis 1:1-5 over. If God is perfect why would he make such an obvious redundancy, unless he is talking about two different things? Is the New Earth perspective logical or illogical, or is it possible the literal heavens and earth talked about in Genesis 1:1-5 are broader applications of those same terms? Both are literally correct but which is more logical?

In completion of the fourth day of creation, God has created in this order:

space (the vacuum of the universe, heaven)
atoms (all earthen matter within the universe, vibrations and movement)
nuclear fusion (light) and polarities
gravity (atmosphere)
land and seas (planetesimals to form planets, water for life)
genetics and plant life (inference for bacteria and simpler genetic structures)
The Sun and Moon and all the stars (time).
It is my conclusion that from this point on in the Bible God is speaking about our Earth, and its inhabitants, as the entire Universes has been completed. God has slowly, but methodically, focused our perspective from the creation of our whole universe and all of matter, down to just our Earth, Sun, and Moon.
