Genesis Vs Evolution Part Iii

Genesis 1:3-5

“And God said let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.”

Genesis 1:3-5 – Hebrew direct translation in English

“and·he-is-saying, Elohim, he-shall-become, he-is-becoming, light, and·he-is-seeing, Elohim, the·light, good, and·he-is-separating, Elohim, between, the·light, and·between, the·darkness, and·he-is-calling, Elohim, to·the·light, and·to·the·darkness, and·he-is-becoming, evening, and·he-is-becoming, morning, day, one.”

No doubt you will have to come back and re-read this and the above verses for proper context. Many people misinterpret or focus on the last verse here so we’ll begin there.

This is not the first 24hr period. That logic is faulty and not literally correct according to Genesis 1:14. If I asked you to tell me the hours from evening to morning as literally written, how many would there be? Would the season on Earth in which I asked this question change your answer? What if you were standing on the moon? The point here is that creation covers everything not just Earth. Is this again pre-Copernicus thinking? In respect to biblical scholars which view would bring people to know God? The new earth view is a dogmatic illogical actual 24hr day view that the Bible does not logically support. Would a new earth view discredit you before you get the opportunity to express the purpose of God? This is the first of many logic and truth problems associated with translations. In the Hebrew text the word for evening and morning can be translated to age, an age, or in scientific terms an epoch. So the evening and morning would be the beginning and end of an age or an epoch, not a 24hr Earth day.

Occum’s Razor: The simplest answer is usually the correct one.

Is it more probable that the words describing a very complicated event were simplified so we humans could understand or that an omnipotent supreme intellect is going to contradict himself?

Now back to the beginning of verse 3. God creates nuclear fusion and polarities. God divides (atomic reaction) from the darkness and void form from the previous verse set. Literally this is a separation of light from dark. Early pre-atomic particles are being constantly bombarded by photons (light). This process keeps matter from forming, as electrons cannot interact with protons to create atoms. All light is created across the whole spectrum visible and invisible. This separation in scientific terms is called the “decoupling phase”. At the end of this phase the universe begins to cool. God then allows those things to perform the work His Spirit has directed.

Once completed God starts the second age or “day” of creation…
