What are you going through right now? I know that our nation and the world are presently in turmoil and unrest. We are facing a very tumultuous election in the USA right now with a very uncertain outcome. The economy, too, is in trouble because of draconian measures our government has taken to resolve a crisis that wasn’t what they made it out to be.
The news media is still putting out its daily doses of fearmongering, to keep the people unsteady and afraid and under their control. None of what they say can be trusted, for it is pretty much all scripted, and all made up or twisted in order to influence people’s minds in a particular direction.
Many people are still asleep and are following after the lies, just buying into a particular political platform and whatever they are promoting without considering whether what they are feeding them is the truth or not. They are not thinking for themselves, just regurgitating what they hear.
Too many people, including many Christians, are following after men and are looking to them for their salvation rather than to look to God alone for their help and support. And they are spending much time and energies promoting their candidate which they could be spending sharing Jesus with the world, who is our only hope and salvation.
The USA is a Mess
Yes, our nation is in a mess, but how did it become that mess? A big part of why we are where we are is that many Christians stopped listening to and following Jesus Christ with their lives, and they turned, instead, to follow men, the world, big business, marketing schemes and feel-good messages which tickled their itching ears.
The church at large, which is to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth in bringing the message of salvation to the world, instead brought the world into the gatherings of the church and thus modeled the gatherings of the church after the world to attract the world.
And then they diluted the gospel message to where it no longer requires repentance, submission to God, obedience to Christ’s commands, holiness, righteousness, purity, faithfulness, and devotion to Christ as LORD. Now it gives free license for the sinner to continue living in sin. Thus, many people professing faith in Jesus Christ truly are not saved from their sins.
Since repentance, obedience and surrendering our lives to Jesus Christ has become passe – no longer fashionable or in wide use but is out-of-date – the church has become lawless, and immorality within the church has skyrocketed, even among those who are pastors of churches.
So, when the church is lawless and living in gross immorality and the church is promoting lawlessness through the cheap grace gospel which gives free license to live in sin without guilt, it should not surprise us that our nation has followed suit and that we are in the mess we are in.
And this is especially true because few people are sharing the true gospel of our salvation anymore, and if they do, they continually get shot down by the cheap grace gospel people who accuse them of teaching “works-based salvation” and of trying to earn their salvation by works of the flesh.
So we need to come to the realization, as the people of this world, and especially as those who profess faith in Jesus Christ, that Jesus is our only hope of salvation (deliverance) and that our trust can’t be in humans who are bound to fail and betray and turn against us.
Psalms 62:3-4 ESV
Because the church at large has forsaken the truth of God’s word to follow after the lies, and they have forsaken Jesus as their Lord to follow after men in their deceitful scheming, the true gospel is under fire, and those who are still teaching it are targets for persecution.
But it isn’t just that we who are still teaching the old time gospel that Jesus taught are being attacked and falsely accused of wrongdoing, but it is that all this is the working of Satan in the world in attempting to destroy the gospel and its messengers in order to bring the world into a one world religion that is inclusive of all faiths.
And it isn’t just the worldly church that is doing this but it is our government leaders, too, who have been building a strong case for some time now that we need world peace and unity so that we, the people of the world, will be in harmony with one another with one voice and mind.
And so they have been stirring up racial hatred and prejudice and they have been turning people groups, one against another, and they have even convinced Christians to fight one another out in public, on social media, over which candidate is the best, or over racial equality, or over whatever “cause” they decide to put out there to get people stirred up about.
But please know this. They don’t care about us. They are not concerned about any of us getting a virus or dying from it, either. Part of their agenda is world depopulation. So, if they can get us killing one another, it works right into their plans. We have to realize that prophecy is being fulfilled here.
Their goal is to bring us all under a one world totalitarian government and one world religion, so diluting the gospel was just one step in that direction, which is also why we have all this unrest presently. It is called “divide and conquer” or “order out of chaos.” They have been following the same M.O. for many years in other nations which they have conquered.
But all this is to fulfill prophecy of Scripture. What we are seeing now in the world and in our individual nations, and in the USA (for those of us who are Americans) is what is prophesied about in Revelation 12-14, in particular in chapter 13. And it was prophesied in Matthew 24 and other Scriptures.

So, what should our resolve be in all of this? We are to wait on the Lord for him to do what he said he would do, and we are to follow the leading of the Lord in doing what he has called each of us to do in sharing his gospel with the world and in living godly and holy lives, pleasing to God.
We are to stop putting our faith in human beings to save us from what ails us, because what ails us is a sin problem, and Jesus is the only one who can save us from our sins. And if we are looking to a man to bring peace, know that peace is going to cost us our freedoms, including freedom of religion.
So put your faith and trust in God alone. Repent of your sins, turn to the Lord Jesus, follow him in obedience, and honor him as Lord (master) of your lives. Let his Holy Spirit lead you into all truth and stop believing the lies that humans are telling you. Test everything in prayer.

Lead me in Your truth today.
May I love You, and obey.
Lead me in Your righteousness.
