Today is the fourth year of the seven year shemitah. And this is special as the 1st Month has two full moons occurring in it during the 1st and 30th days of the 1st Month. This unique event only occurs during the 1st, 4th, and 7th years of the shemitah. The first year fell on March 23rd, 2016.
