Fervency In The Place Of Prayer

"Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results." (James 5:16 NLT)

Earnest: Characterized by or proceeding from an intense and serious state of mind (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)
Fervent: Exhibiting or marked by great intensity of feeling(Ibidem)
In the place of prayer, our passion must be aflamed by the Holy Spirit. There is an intensity and serious state of mind I must attain when praying. My whole being must be directed and coordinated towards God. Prayer must never be casual or routine for me.
Another important issue is that of righteousness. The imputed righteousness by God must be maintained by the help of the Holy Spirit. A righteous man or woman that prays with fervour will always get tremendous results. Their prayers are potent and powerful!
If we desire to be in this state of potency with God, we must as a matter urgency plead with God to purge us and remove every drop of impurity in our lives.
This is the greatest asset we have as Christians: When we ask Him anything in the name of Jesus, according to His will, He hears us.

ACTION PLAN: Our personal consecration will make our prayers to be effective. What efforts are you making to be separated unto God alone?

PRAYER: Take my all and let them be consecrated Lord to Thee.
Purge and inflame me with Your fire. Amen.
