Feasts of the Lord (see Lev 23) outline 3 mandatory pilgrimage (all males 20 years & older were required to travel to Jerusalem) Harvest Festivals/Feasts, which highlight 7 special day's.
The Feasts of the Lord are part of the foundation upon which ALL Scripture is built.
1)Passover, 2)Unleavened Bread, 3)Firstfruits, 4)Pentecost, 5)Rosh Hashanah/Trumpets 6)Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement 7)Tabernacles
The first 4 special day's are commonly referred to as the Spring Feasts and point to Christ's 1st coming.
Jesus died on Passover, was buried during Unleavened Bread & rose on Firstfruits. Jesus sent His indwelling Holy Spirit on Pentecost. Trumpets, Day of Atonement & Tabernacles point to the Lords 2nd coming.
Although all scripture is written for the Body of Christ, not all scripture is written to us. Example: Is today's Body of Christ believer required to bring an animal sacrifice to the Temple?
These special day's are a physical shadow/picture of the spiritual reality to come. The OT physical agricultural harvests are a picture/shadow spiritual soul harvests to come.
OT physical agricultural harvests & all males 20yrs & older were required to travel to Jerusalem (Deut 16:16):
Passover barley, Pentecost wheat (the main/largest harvest) & Tabernacles fruits of the trees, olives/pomegranates/figs etc.
1 Cor 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
(NOTE: Christ the 1st to resurrect conquering death)
Matt 27:
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
(NOTE: After his resurrection many bodies of the saints which slept arose, & were seen by many. I'm guessing OT Patriarchs (1st level of leadership in Christ's coming government) are resurrected here & were taken with Jesus. (Acts 1:9-12)
It's here at the 1st post resurrection Passover (barley harvest) that the 1st bodily soul resurrection harvest happens.
At the 1st post resurrection Pentecost (wheat harvest) that the 1st spiritual quickening/indwelling happens & 3000 souls are eternally sealed via Christ's Holy Spirit.
The final soul harvest will happen at a Feast of Tabernacles to come. Amen
