Christians often fall, not because of their Christianity, but as a result of revelling in the ways of mankind. We cannot serve two masters as the Bible clearly states. Separating the two is the whole purpose of repentance and redemption.
Yet it seems to me those fallen as a result of thriving on worldly ways, are quickly elevated to the level of sainthood, again not by Christianity, but by those who think reference to such can be a tool to be used for their worldly purpose. Setting the proverbial example.
We can't change what is to come pertaining to the final conflict.. but we can chose to avoid it the best we can until the final crunch when our loyalties are called into question. That is the purpose of repentance and proclaiming loyalty to the Kingdom and not the world of man and it's games. Unfortunate that so many think they may have it both ways.
