  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Everyday is a day of dying with the Lord. We die to ourselves and put our faith in God. God, the Almighty who has created the Heavens and the Earth. Why shouldn’t we trust Him? He said that he loves the world so much, he came and died to save us. Mankind has fallen short of God’s glory and perfection by being sinners. We needed to be saved from sin. God knows that we cannot be perfect like Him. He created all things for Him and by Him. He knew what was to happen to mankind. Each one of us would sin after being born. We were unclean in the presence of God. Imagine that. We were made to be with God, and were born unfit for Him. Moses brought the law, and still the men that studied it day and night could not keep it. If people weren’t outright breaking the law, they were sinning with their hearts by thinking about breaking them. With mankind, keeping the law of God was impossible. We needed a miracle to save us. Each of us is born needing a miracle. This world offers counterfeit ones that just won’t save us. We need an eternal savior. God manifested his glorious self into flesh. He did not come charging in to destroy nations, instead he came as a lowly and humble servant of God the Father in Heaven. He was the Son of man to be a sacrifice for the people. He chose to suffer for the sins of man. He was the Lamb of God. He was the Truth. The truth would set us free.
Ask yourself, ‘ Am I really free?.’ Do you feel like no matter what you do, something is always missing? Do you never feel satisfied? Do you never feel peace? Do you never feel love from God? Are you captive to sin?
If you answered ‘Yes’, to any of these questions, then you are not abiding in Truth whom is God. The truth is.. With God, Nothing is missing. Satisfaction only comes from real fellowship with the Lord. Peace comes from the Lord whom you fellowship with. God is love. Jesus sets you free from sin. Think on these things.
