What will quicken us on the last day and give us eternal life is the Spirit of God. Everything else that is being carried out with the power of the flesh will not have any reward whatsoever. There is no profit in the activities of the flesh. (Galatians 5:19-21). Everyone that indulges in the works of the flesh shall not inherit God's kingdom.
Our righteousnesses are filthy rags before the Lord. We must accept Jesus' righteousness and stand in it until the final day. Do not allow pride and self-sufficiency rob you of the blessing of eternal life.
