Who says we need political parties ? With just 2 parties running the government it' s very easy to corrupt our system .You have another election coming where it takes a million to run for congress , tens of millions to run for senate and one billion was spent to run for president in the last election and the normal person thinks they are being represented ? , no the mega corporations are who put up the $$$ . So the only ones that can run for office are the ones who will play ball with the corporations .Ending the 2 parties and also ending campaign $$ by giving everyone equal media time would solve the problem .You will get normal people who aren't beholding to the elites they will work for all Americans not just the 2% who 90% of all the wealth .You won't have this division in the country and these extreme people who so far from most Americans in views . You can have regular people who aren't looking to get rich or stay in power for ever .People who have a calling who will just want to serve their country doing what is best for everyone .Today most of the time politicians are not working in congress I was shocked to hear they only work 3 days a week .Cause most of the time they are busy raising $$ for their next election.They don't even have time to read what they are voting on , but it doesn't really matter cause they have to vote the party line anyway. Another thing by getting rid of the two party system you will have more transparency in D.C cause politicians will be able to speak out on issues not having to worry about what their party is trying to hide. No more back room deals on things that don't fall under national security .Transparency ,Transparency in congress get America back on track instead of the extreme two parties taking her down into a endless spiral.
