I'm reminded of one of my current fave. songs and part of a line (which I absolutely love)"I'm soo done".
The song is about something else but there are a few lines that are perfect.
and "I am letting go"...

Bad timing but still what's got to be done...
It's not that feelings change but it's a practicality. Even if I have whatever feelings, I don't live by them (I try not to) anymore.
So I'm done looking around, looking for someone. Or rather... I'm sooo done...
I tried and tried, and if they still want to play the same games or nothing...
There is nothing more I can do, or give. Nothing new, nothing better...
What more or new could I say? It has been the best I can do, and if that isn't good enough & /or doesn't work....
Maybe in more power (the supernatual element may be a bit lower these days) yet- there was a time when that was there stronger- and it still didn't matter.
It came to me in the Bible how Jesus told the disciples when they go out and share, if they aren't received in a certain place, to shake the dust off their feet and move on.
So I'm thining about that. Like for evangelists/evangelizing: you really only preach one message- the gospel. It doesn't change, once you present it, that's it. One wouldn't keep sticking around and preaching different ones till something is accepted. Either it is or it isn't.
Maybe it can be presented in different ways, through different methods- but it's the same message, and if someone truely wants it they'll receive it through whatever presentation.
Paul said there is no other foundatioin other than Jesus (the gospel). That's where it all begins. If it doesn't begin there, nothing else has begun. Now you can build on the that all kinds of stuff (teachings, doctrine, words).
Yet, the simple gospel is where it all starts. If someone doesn't get/receive that, they are stuck, and will not be able to "move on" to others things (maturity).
How many times can one have the gospel presented to them? I think it can be a matter of timing. Jesus told them to shake the dust off and move on. Maybe those people wiill receive the message at a later date ( or not) but He didn't want the disciples to waste their time presenting the same thing (which was the first & needed thing) over & over. You can't force someone to get it. Either they don't want truth, or they will receive it at another time- but now they aren't ready. One might think it is loving to stick around trying to feed someone, help someone, but if they don't want help (or at that point in time)- then it's waste. God doesn't like waste (that's in the Bible).
Who knows maybe there is someone else one isn't with, aren't helping because you're stuck decided to help this other one who is resisting. That has always been a hard one for me, putting my attention in the right place. Lord help me.
As for something being demonic, I was also meaning in timing. Like there is Kairos time, divine appointments, God-appointments, God suddenlies, under the anointing etc....
I have come to see there is also demonic appointments. Ha just like they say, "God has a plan for your life" well so does the Devil & his evil spirits. The Devil tries to set up his stuff, make his appoinments too.
I was really struck by this when I heard a couple months ago about the football player that was killed by his girlfriend (I think in FL). I guess she was distraught, disappointed, upset, maybe depressed about that she found out he was running around on her & lying to her about it. Yet, I think it was another one of those, people were suprised because they wouldn't think her the crimminal / murderous type.
Satan hates people and first wants to keep them from receiving Christ, then also to give God & Jesus a bad name. This guy I think was "supposed to" have claimed to be a Christian. Anyway the Devil knew what was going on with them, & since the gal wan't saved- the evil spirits knew about how she was feeling & thinking. So I read this gal bought a gun from someone selling them in the parking lot where she worked? How did that con know to approach her? To be there offering a gun, just at that time (like I'm sure someone like that would never buy one at any other time). Sure making it easy for her, definately an example of demonic appointment, all to fit in with ruining their lives & trying to fill his demonic plan.
Stuff like this happens all the time. I can remember one such example in my own life. i remember one particular night I wasn't sure about going out since the weather was bad. I remember like getting this impression, pressure feeling to go out anyway. I had been in a season of being rather down, and right then the thought came to me, "Oh you never know, things could change just like that- who knows what will happen when you go out, who you could meet, this could be a new beginning etc"... Wow I'm sure now that was some demon trying to plant those thoughts in my mind. Well it worked. Sure enough I met someone out there on that dreary & horrible weather night. This person could have turned out to be trouble & my worst nightmare- if later on God hadn't intervened mercifully on my behalf. The Devil's appointment was a drug addicted crimminal- but in the right package who knew how to "speak my language". I could have ended up hooked on coke, in prison both or just dead before I even hit 20.
The Devil even used my warped belief system at the time to make me think it was God setting me up, false hope.
Things can be demonic like that, usually without that person the devil is using, without them knowing about it (what they are really doing).
Another clearer example. A relative of mine is paranoid. So one night we all come home from shopping. It was late, about 11 or midnight. We park and see there is this strange suspicious looking person walking back and forth in front of our place. Now since we live in the city and nearby where there are some homeless people- it isn't totally unusual, but it isn't totally common either. So we watched a bit. Ha but it was one of those setups from the demonic world. The evil sprits know just how this relative thinks, so of course what are they going to think, with a setup like this?
Perfect wrong timing! It was late, dark, a strange looking person wandering in the front- ah and right as we pull up....
Of course according to their disorder it was a setup (but since they don't understand the spirtual rhelm they can't really put it together)- they think this person was a plant, hired to kill them, that this person is there to get them specifically. Taking the right perception and giving it the wrong interpretation. This instead of yes it is suspicious, and yes they really shouldn't be there at this time, or they don't need to be. But, it was probably just an old homeless guy just looking for cans or change. Or maybe they were on something or shizophrenic and they didn't really know what they were doing (didn't realize how they appeared). We also concluded maybe since he was older he could have alzhimers.
That's how it works though, the evil spirits do know things about people and have some power over them (those who aren't Christian). The evil spirits can lead people to do & say things that they don't even know why- but the evil spirits know how that might effect someone else, to try to put to gether the chain of effects/results they want.
The devil can use things to get others to react etc. how they want according to evil plans. So sometimes even if the other person doesn't mean evil or anything bad, it's possible for evil spirits to setup certain things/people events etc. at a certain time to make things appear a certain way to bother/upset distress or worse- the person they are trying to harass (or worse, like destroy if they can).
I know that situation was set up to reinforse my relatives paranoid thinking, like a false (though not so far fetched like aliens or something, with just enough plausablity & reality to make it believable to this person) confirmation. And in the process probably wanted to cause them through this event to stir them up so they start yelling and making a scene, upsetting us, maybe bothering neighbors and whose knows from there...
I know on occasion the enemy tries to set up things just so- to try to harass me (not in a paranoid way but according to some thing that might get to me). Same types of workings- the "right" kind of person at a certain time saying/writing a certain kind of thing or in a cetain way- that might lead me to believe whatever.
I'm really sick of the games though, human & or demonic.
"I'm soo done"
So, with the help of the Holy Spirits control, no more checking in on whatever, no more looking at whoevers page, hoping for whatever. What's done is done, if it hasn't been enough, then I don't think it ever will.
