Do You Believe, Then Speak!

And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).

Seemingly different individuals, in different eras, in different context, said the very same thing, “I believed and therefore I spoke.”

They both spoke,

One with tons of poems another with epistle after epistle,

One with disabling sickness another with a devastating discouragement,

One to his Great Creator, another to his skeptical followers.

Now, you and I share on thing in common with these two spiritual giants. We do BELIEVE, we believe with the same spirit of faith, faith in the glorious work of our Savior.

So, speak without compromise,

Speak with clarity,

Speak to your child, your husband, your mother, even to a stranger,

Speak of your Savior’s grace, love, and power,

Speak of your life, redemption, and transformation,

Speak of THE TRUTH,

Speak when your audience get uncomfortable,

Speak when all your pride cries, “stop”,

Speak when no one seem to hear,

Speak when people call you intolerant,

Speak when you are misunderstood, judged, and shamed,

Speak as you are hard pressed to denounce,

Just speak of one think my friend, and you won’t be wrong, speak of only “Christ, and HIM crucified”.
