Jesus is the Truth of God. He said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except by me". Anyone that believes and cast their lot with Him will never be a cast away in this life and in eternity.
Many have abandoned this Truth and are running after lies from the devil. Some are being deceived into this and some deliberately rejected Jesus and embraced lies from the devil.
Everyone that is full of the self-life will demand worship in a way. The idol of the 21st century is not made of stone and wood but of flesh and blood. The world system is a potent weapon in the hand of the devil to push this dangerous agenda. Individualism is being celebrated all over the place. People are being seduced to look up to individuals as 'messiahs'. Christians must desist from embracing such fallacy. No human, no matter how highly placed, should be our example. Jesus is our perfect example, and we are permitted to follow people in the area of their lives that resemble Christ. We must never follow anyone blindly, it is imperative on us to check with the Holy Spirit and ask Him to reveal people and their intentions to us.
ACTION PLAN: It will be of great help if you can ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the personality you are truly serving to you.
PRAYER: Father, deliver me from being deceived into serving humans and any man-made gods.
