Decision To Not Interact On Cf Blogs Much In The Present

  1. When I first came on CF I would see that "alert number" of all the blogs I hadn't read yet, and want to read them and get rid of that number, or get it way down.
Lately, I have just let that number rise to 76. I am reading very few blogs currently. The division among the writers/responders became disturbing to me. I no longer wanted to teach/correct/or seek to learn from them. For the time I am focusing on praying and commenting on the "prayer wall', trying to be a positive help to people. Occasionally I write a blog to hopefully share something people can use, or just write a prayer to bless God. I may occasionally enter the debate of the blogs in the future, which hasn't seemed to have me being "that" effective in helping people in the past, but for now I feel I can serve better mostly in praying for those requesting prayer.

You can get rid of those alert numbers by going to your Personal Details settings and uncheck the Display unviewed Media and Display unviewed Blogs .
DeerGlow and Greg Merrill like this.

Thought I would write this update. My alert for blogs unread is now at 243. I don't feel I am missing much, and have had more peace since reading less of them. I was reading "bettercallpaul" but having read some just recently, I think I am going to avoid reading him any more, as it has just been leading to seeing more and more division between us, and feeling like I need to respond to things I disagree with scripturally. Personally I wish him well, even the best, but no longer want to read of things that are so unscriptural. At times "Prove all things, hold fast that which is good" ( 1 Thessalonians 5:21) is sufficient; but for now I think I need to apply some of 2 Corinthians 6:17 "Come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you."

Not only am I reading less blogs, if any, I now have to be more and more careful of how I pray on the prayer wall of CF, after receiving a warning concerning a prayer of mine. Instead of actually praying on line, maybe I should just do what some do and write "Praying" or "Hugs." I guess I wouldn't get censored for that. I haven't meant to offend anybody with my prayers, but to help them, and have had God (seeing I am talking to Him) more in mind than the one I am praying for, and wasn't thinking of "moderators" censoring my prayers. The Holy Spirit never censors my prayers to the Father, but will help with my "infirmities" (shortcomings, misdirected or mis-worded prayers), if I don't know exactly what or how to pray, and will make intercession for me, without censoring my prayers from the omniscient Father and Son, Romans 8:26. Christ also maketh intercession for us (me), Romans 8:34. "Who shall separate us (me) from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword ( or censors)? I will not make this a separate blog, or try to reach anymore with this than those that read the beginning of this thread to start with, otherwise this might be censored and deleted as well.
