Recently I was asking for advice on how to hear God. Someone suggested that I "create space" and put aside time to spend specifically with Him. That was something I had never considered. I believe God is omnipresent, and always with me, and I took that fact for granted. Just like with anyone in your life who you love, having them always around isn't enough, for you or them. You need quality time together.
I say this as a clueless guy who wanted to know God's will and, apparently, asked the right question. That's all it takes. If you want to get closer to God and know what He wants for you, then just ask, seek, knock. He wants you to find Him.
