So the covid-19 crisis has thrown up a lot of issues especially around the world and also within the body of Christ! I almost feel like writing here, "thank God for covid-19"! Well, I just did! But biblically that is a wrong thing to say, it does not agree with the New Testament view of thanksgiving. This is what the Bible says about thanksgiving:
"In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18).
This is the will of God concerning us, IN EVERYTHING we are to give thanks! We are to give thanks IN EVERYTHING and NOT FOR EVERYTHING! Every word of scripture is important; we are to give thanks 'in everything' and not 'for everything'. We thank God for the times we are in but we are not thanking God for coronavirus, no! He didn't make the virus. Virus are not bacteria, they are not living things, and everything that is not living is man-made and probably inspired by the devil and the reason why I know this is because whatever steals, kills and destroys is of the devil! And for this purpose was the son of God manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil and so we declare by faith that this covid-19 and its scourge over the face of the earth is destroyed in the name of Jesus!
And peradventure you are reading this in America, Germany, Britain, Nigeria, from wherever nations of the world this is been read, and there is any sickness or disease or virus growing in your body, by these spoken word been documented now, you are healed in the name of Jesus! Every sickness drops of your body now in the name of Jesus!
We are currently going through a period in the history of humanity where it's pretty difficult to keep your sanity! When you see the rising figures and the spread of the covid-19 infection, for the natural man and mind it is all but difficult to keep your sanity and so a call for an attitude of thanksgiving in a time like this bothers on insanity, it doesn't make sense, like people would say today! But herein lies the wisdom of God, it may be foolishness to the world but to us, it is the manifestation of his power! And so the prophet wrote in Habakkuk 3:17-19
"Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments"
Even when things go against sense in the natural I will praise God in the spirit. Because thanksgiving unlocks the door to God's presence and in God's presence we have access to heavenly treasures!
Psalm 100:1-5(MSG)
"On your feet now—applaud God! Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence. Know this: God is God, and God, God. He made us; we didn’t make him. We’re his people, his well-tended sheep. Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him. For God is sheer beauty, all-generous in love, loyal always and ever."
What a word! When we talk praise we are at home with the father and when we are at home with the father the devil cannot make home in our body! Sickness, disease, covid-19 and whatever virus is yet to come from the pit of hell cannot make a home in your body! And so this very instant they are leaving your body!
Thanksgiving unlocks the door to God's presence and in God's presence, there is no earthly pressure!
We have the story of the woman with the issue of blood who came in the press behind to touch the hem of Jesus garment and as soon as she did, whatever was of the devil that was growing in her dried up!
‘A woman who had suffered a condition of hemorrhaging for twelve years—a long succession of physicians had treated her, and treated her badly, taking all her money and leaving her worse off than before—had heard about Jesus. She slipped in from behind and touched his robe. She was thinking to herself, “If I can put a finger on his robe, I can get well.” The moment she did it, the flow of blood dried up. She could feel the change and knew her plague was over and done with’. (Mark 5:25-29 MSG)
Whatever plagues Satan has put on anyone's body drops of now in the name of Jesus! That woman touched Jesus, he came before the father and her body was restored back to health. This day is someone's day of restoration!
As soon as she touched Jesus, the master said, 'virtue has gone out of me'. This is the heavenly treasure that praise grants us access to, God's virtue destroyed the devil's virus, and God’s power destroys the devil's plague! Whatever is plaguing anyone's destiny is lifted now in the name of Jesus!
Praise brings us into God's presence and in God's presence we encounter God's power and with God's power, we can displace every power and works of the enemy! The Psalmist again in Psalm 92:1-2, 10 establishes this truth for us again.
‘It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.’ Psalms 92:1-2, 10 KJV
Thanksgiving paves the way into His presence and when we come into his presence one of the heavenly treasures that we encounter is the ANOINTING, the yoke breaking power of God, the virtue of heaven given for the beauty of the believer! You can't be freshly anointed and still be infected! Infected by what? Virus? Disease? Sickness? Plagues? Pestilence? Those who are truly anointed cannot be infected by the devil! If you are it's because you don't what you carry, it's time your covenant mentality comes alive!
My doctor would probably be reading this. It's been over 23 years now I have ever needed any medical attention of any kind. But four years or so ago at the onset of POWERTALK due to unusual level of typing and usage of my hand I begin to have some pains on my scapula bones and collar bone, I had to go for an x-ray section and at the end of the day some bones I was told, was out of place, damaged, whatever they said, bottom line was that it was not good and I could take some drugs and maybe it would be restored. As soon as I stepped out of the lab/clinic, I placed my hands on the neck and shoulder and declared to go back to its original place. As soon as I did that God's virtue and anointing were released at that time, though I didn't realize at the moment. It was not until two months later that I remember I once had gruelling pains, but now all gone because Isaiah 10:27 declares
"And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing"
Literally, I saw that scripture manifested whatever yoke was on my neck and shoulder was gone. Whatever is on yours now is gone now in the name of Jesus!
Been thankful will keep you freshly anointed through this season and when you are anointed you cannot be afflicted, infected or molested by the devil!

DIVINE 'EXEMPTER'
The Bible tells us in Psalm 89 what the anointing does.
"I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him, nor the son of wickedness afflicts him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted" - Psalms 89:20-24 KJV
When you are anointed by the Spirit of God these are the blessings that follow and one of them is that the ENEMY SHALL NOT EXACT UPON HIM, NOR THE SON OF WICKEDNESS AFFLICT HIM! Hallelujah. So the anointing exempts you from every wickedness, affliction, and infection in the world!
God's anointing is our divine more exemption from every evil and affliction in the world. A dose of daily anointing keeps you safe from every evil out there and be thankful keeps your head running with the oil of the Spirit! The Bible says they went from one nation to another nation, but despite this, he suffered no man to do them harm saying TOUCH NOT MINE ANOINTED and do my prophets no harm! The anointing places a seal of touch not on your head so from today every plague sees you and passes. This week every disease passes you! Amen.
