Conforming To The Perfect Image

"For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren."
(Romans 8:29 AMPC)

The good that God intended to achieve in our lives from every experience is for us to be conformed to the image of His dear Son (Romans 8:28-29). Has God foreordained everyone or some selected few to be conformable to the image of Jesus? It is for everyone because the Bible says God "Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth." (1 Timothy 2:4 AMPC). He wishes all humans to be saved, He has not selected a few amongst us to be saved. The issue is that He will not override our free will. He created us as free moral agents and the decision to accept His prescription for redemption lies with us. Therefore we are all inexcusable! No one will go to hell by mistake, everyone that consciously reject the lordship of Jesus are responsible for their eternal doom and not God. Everyone of us is responsible for his or her eternal destination.
God wants to change us on the inside and produce the resemblance of Jesus in us. Therefore He allows different kind of experiences to come our way so as work the likeness of Jesus into us. He is the one that works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. He makes us to pass through all of these so that when Jesus appears on the final day, we will be like Him.

ACTION PLAN: You need understand that every experience God bring your way is for your good.

PRAYER: Father, uproot every likeness in me that is contrary to that of Jesus. Make me conformable to His image.
