I imagine everyone reading this has observed the dramatic uptick in the discussion of conspiracy. This seems to be happening across most of the bands of society, whether there is espoused belief in God or not. He gave commandment, when this came up a very long time ago:
One very important question, is why. Why should we refuse to join in with them? They do seem to make themselves and their friends happier. They are clearly, in their own eyes, defining for themselves which fights in which they should engage, and with whom. They are clearly goading each other for causes they consider righteous, good, and necessary.
My question, then, has to be, is their behavior actually the right thing to do?
According to God, it is not. According to God, explaining His own statement quoted above:
Certainly, nearly all of the devotees about whom I am talking about, will usually deny fear. It is popular among them to do so, so that is what they do. But God says something else about them, in His statements above. He says that they do not respect Him. What does this mean?
I will suggest, that this means that they do not respect Him enough to remember that it is by His will, decision, and power alone, that any nation has ever had anything. They do not respect Him enough to remember, that it is by His will, decision, and power alone, that every single nation was created, exists, and suffers. Instead they look to all sorts of other causality, other power, other will and decision. Often they imagine that God has nothing to do with their sufferings; they don't care to consider it, they don't respect Him that much. Some of them talk much about what devils are doing, and turn blind eye to the truth that all power on heaven and earth, whether wielded by devil or angel or man, is given by God alone.
The only way any nation improves, is because God becomes willing for it to improve, and gives the input, the Spirit and the will and the way of God; and it improves. The only way any nation declines, descends into chaos, is because God has become unwilling for it to improve, has denied some of His input.
Regardless of nation and world, we retain the opportunity to seek God, repent of evils such as the above, and be motivated, moved, and kept by Him. I shall repent of my own behavior above, and I shall pray that we all shall be pulled so by His Spirit. This is clearly good, according to God.
Indeed this is what the LORD told me. He took hold of me firmly and warned me not to act like these people: "Do not say, 'Conspiracy,' every time these people say the word. Don't be afraid of what scares them; don't be terrified."
