Christian Camp Versus Nudist Camp

Each year my family and I spend a week at a Christian camp, and then spend 3 days at a nudist camp.

How do we handle the culture shock? These are total opposites, obviously.

Well, let's do an item-by-item comparison:

Christian camp: no alcohol allowed

Nudist camp: alcohol allowed

Christian camp: "modest one-piece swimsuits" required

Nudist camp: no swimsuits allowed

Christian camp: many children

Nudist camp: few children

Christian camp: abundant sports activities available

Nudist camp: limited sports activities available

Christian camp: praise music and worship every day

Nudist camp: Bible study and worship on Sunday

Christian camp: lots of patriotism and Christian values

Nudist camp: lots of patriotism and Christian values

Christian camp: respectful, considerate, mannerly behavior

Nudist camp: respectful, considerate, mannerly behavior

Christian camp: friends we look forward to seeing every year

Nudist camp: friends we look forward to seeing every year

Christian camp: a strong feeling of community and "family" who look out for each other

Nudist camp: a strong feeling of community and "family" who look out for each other

Just as I thought; nothing in common at all.
