The 144,000 of Israel Sealed

Rev 7:1 And after these things
I saw four angels
Standing on the four corners of the earth (N.E.S.W.)

In the above statement assumptions are made by those who have not studied the scriptures in depth. The assumption is that this is the entire planet. Earth. This is not however what is being stated here. What is being stated is that the four angels are standing on the four corner of the land, that being the land of Israel.

What is so misleading here is again, the English language. People jump to the conclusion that the earth here is the planet when it is actually the land of Israel. The word earth here translates to a given area on Earth, a land, a particular place on Earth or in the land being mentioned.

Who is this writing to? To the Jews, not the Gentiles and the world. What are the four winds? They are the four Spirits of God, the four angels that will do God's biding against Israel. It is the Jews that are involved int writing.

Holding the four winds of the earth
That the wind should not blow on the earth
Nor on the sea
Nor on any tree

The sea is the peoples of Israel. The tree is in reference to individuals of Israel.

Isa 14:8-12 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

The grave from beneath is moved for You to meet You at Your coming: it stirs up the dead for You, even all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. All they shall speak and say unto You, Are You also become weak as we? Are You become like unto us? Your pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of Your viols: the worm is spread under You, and the worms cover You.

How are You fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how are You cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Judge_9:15 And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth you anoint Me king over you, then come and put your trust in My shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.

Psa_29:5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yea, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon.

Isa_14:8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since You are laid down, no feller is come up against us.

Jer_22:23 O inhabitant of Lebanon, that make Your nest in the cedars, how gracious shall You be when pangs come upon You, the pain as of a woman in travail!

Eze_31:9 I have made Him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied Him.


Eze_31:16 I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

It should be very apparent from all the above verses that t a tree, or trees, are often a figure of speech in the Bible scriptures. In the above verses it is Satan that is the Cedar in Lebanon.

Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel
Ascending from the east
Having the seal of the living God
And He cried with a loud voice to the four angels
To whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea

Here is the Lord Christ Jesus who ascends from the East, the direction of God's throne. It is He who has gotten the power over Satan by His obedience to His Father.

Rev 7:3 Saying
Hurt not the earth (the land)
Neither the sea (nation
No the trees (peoples)

Until WE HAVE sealed the servants of our God
In their foreheads

The word forehead has the meaning of the mind. Wait until the minds which are to become
obedient to Us do so.

Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed
And there were sealed a hundred and forty and four thousand
Of all the tribes of the children of Israel

There is at least on Denominational teaching today that teaches that these 144,000 will be the ones who truly follow after God by their works. One of the problems with this is that it limits who will be of God's Elect. Man can not number God's elect, only God can. To say otherwise is to take away God's own authority!

Another problem is that these which are sealed are of the Jews, not the Gentiles. To say otherwise would be to make Paul's ministry of no value. Woe to those that teach such things!
The proof is what follows; it is those of the tribes of Israel, not Gentiles.

Rev 7:5
Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand
Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand

Now the Old Testament arrangement of the tribes will be given

Gen 49:1-33 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together
That I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days

Gather yourselves together
And hear you sons of Jacob

And hearken unto Israel your father

1-Reuben
You are my firstborn
My might

And the beginning of My strength
The excellency of dignity
And the excellency of power

Unstable as water
You shall not excel

Because you went up to your father's bed
Then defiled you it
He went up to My couch

2-3 Simeon and Levi are brethren
Instruments of cruelty are in their habitations

O my soul, come not You into their secret
Unto their assembly
Mine honor be not You united
For in their anger they slew a man
And in their self will they dug down a wall

Cursed be Their anger
For it was fierce
And their wrath
For it was cruel

I will divide them in Jacob
And scatter them in Israel

Judah You are he whom Your brethren shall praise
Your hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies
Your father's children shall bow down before Yourselves

Judah is a lion's whelp
From the prey My son You are gone up
He stooped down
He couched as a lion

And as an old lion
Who shall rouse Him up

The scepter shall not depart from Judah
Nor a lawgiver from between his feet

Until Shiloh come
And unto Him shall the gathering of the people be

Binding His foal unto the vine
And his ass's colt unto the choice vine

Mat 21:2-3 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. And if any many say unto you, you shall sy, the Lord has need of them; and straightway he will send them.

He washed his garments in wine
And His clothes in the blood of grapes

His eyes shall be red with wine
And his teeth white with milk

Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea
And he shall be for an haven of ships
And his border shall be unto Zidon


Isachar is a strong ass couching down between two burdens
And He saw that rest was good
And the land that it was pleasant
And bowed His shoulder to bear
And became a servant unto tribute

Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel
Dan shall be a serpent by the way
An adder in the path that bites the horse heels
So that his rider shall fall backward

I have waited for Your salvation O LORD

Gad a troop shall overcome Him
But He shall overcome at the last

Out of Asher his bread shall be fat
And He shall yield royal dainties

Naphtali is a hind let loose
He gives goodly words

Joseph is a fruitful bough
Even a fruitful bough by a well
Whose branches run over the wall

The archers have sorely grieved Him
And shot at Him
And hated Him

But His bow abode in strength
And the arms of His hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob
From there is the shepherd
The stone of Israel

Even by the God of Your father
Who shall help Yourselves and by the Almighty,
Who shall bless You with blessings of heaven above
Blessings of the deep that lies under
Blessings of the breasts
And of the womb

The blessings of Your father have prevailed above
The blessings of My progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills
They shall be on the head of Joseph
And on the crown of the head of him that was separate from His brethren

Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf
In the morning he shall devour the prey
And at night he shall divide the spoil
Jacob's Death and Burial

Gen 49:28 All these are the twelve tribes of Israel
And this is it that their father spake unto Them
And blessed Them
Every one according to His blessing He blessed Them

And He charged them
And said unto Them

I am to be gathered unto My people
Bury Me with My fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite
In the cave that is in the field of Machpelah
Which is before Mamre
In the land of Canaan

Which Abraham bought with the field of Ephron the Hittite
For a possession of a burying place

There they buried Abraham and Sarah His wife
There they buried Isaac and Rebekah His wife
And there I buried Leah

The purchase of the field and of the cave that is therein was from the children of Heth
And when Jacob had made an end of commanding His sons
He gathered up his feet into the bed

And yielded up the spirit
And was gathered unto his people
A Great Multitude from Every Nation

Rev 7:9-12 After this I beheld
And lo a great multitude
Which no man could number
Of all nations
An kindred's
And people
And languages (tongues)

Act 2:1-20 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

And how hear we every man in our own language (tongue), wherein we were born?

Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. Peter's Sermon at Pentecost

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

And on My servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
You men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know: Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, You have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

For David spoke concerning Him, I foresaw the Lord always before My face, for he is on My right hand, that I should not be moved: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and My tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
Act 2:27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

You have made known to Me the ways of life; You shall make Me full of joy with thy countenance.

nMen and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day.

Stood before the throne
And before the Lamb
Clothed with white robes

And palms in their hands
And cried with a loud voice saying
Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne
And unto the Lamb

And all the angels stood round about the throne
And about the elders and the four beasts

And fell before the throne on their faces
And worshiped God

Saying
1-Truth ( Amen)
2-Blessing
3-And glory
4-And wisdom
5-And thanksgiving
6-And honor
7-And power
8-And might

Notice above is given eight things. Eight being the number of a new beginning in the Bible scriptures.

Nine, the fruit of the Spirit of God.
Be unto our God for ever and ever
Truth ( Amen)

Rev 13 And one of the elders answered
Saying unto Me

What are these which are arrayed in white robes
And whence came they

And I said unto Him
Sir You know
And He said to Me

These are They
Which came out of great tribulation

And have washed their robes
And made them white in the blood of the Lamb

Therefore are they before the throne of God
And serve Him day and night in His temple
And He that sits on the throne shall dwell among Them

They shall hunger no more
Neither thirst any more
Neither shall the sun light on them,
Nor any heat

For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne
Shall feed Them
And shall lead Them
Unto living fountains of waters

John_4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If You knew the gift of God, and who it is that said to You, Give me to drink; You would have asked of him, and He would have given You living water.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes
