Celebrate Your Faith

5Celebrate your faith.jpg

As followers of Jesus, we have reason to celebrate every moment of every day. We were lost and now have been found. From the moment of our salvation, we have been safely in the hands of Jesus guided by the Holy Spirit.

“Bring the fattened calf, kill it, and let us eat and celebrate; for this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’ And they began to celebrate.” Luke 15:23-24 (NASB)

Our walk with Jesus brings meaning to our shallow and incomplete existence in this world. The overwhelming love of Jesus compels us to follow his teachings as presented in the Bible with a reciprocal love that fills our heart with joy.

“These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.” John 15:11 (NASB)

This joy filled life is a constant pattern for all believers. It’s time for celebration with other believers as we encourage and support each other in our walk with the Lord.

“Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:18-19 (NASB)

Take this opportunity right now to allow the spirit of God to take control and fill your heart with joy, giving thanks, and gleefully submitting to the will of God. Praise His Holy Name!
