Building The Kingdom Of God: Understanding Vatican Ii And The Spiritual

God's plan is the Kingdom of God. Good Christians should be working towards God's Kingdom. God's Kingdom is built when his will be done "On earth as it is in heaven." Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess. Someone really motivated towards building God's Kingdom may need to understand Vatican II. This is for all Christians.

It was August 2014, and God shepherded me to learn about Vatican II. I was not a Catholic, nor had been educated in Catholic Law and Dogma. God shepherded me to learn about Vatican II. I did so, and God showed me some things.

Summary of Important Elements of Vatican II for General Christian Understanding Towards Building the Kingdom of God

In learning about Catholic and Orthodox Law, I saw some Enduring Spiritual Themes. God is objective. The Bible is objective. There is Truth with a capitol T. Truth is light. Lies and deception are darkness. Has a friend ever lied to you, and you believed a lie as truth? Are you generally a gullible person? You may be said to be in "The Dark" at times. Satan is a liar and deceiver. He deceives mankind and works to skew people's perspectives. Someone with a false perspective is in The Dark. He has a false view of reality. Jesus Christ is The Light and the Truth of the World. He leads people out of the cave of ignorance and darkness.

  • 8For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the LORD. Live as children of light (Ephesians 5:8)
  • You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. (1 Thessalonians 5:5)

Given someone has the Truth, why would they need to change? Catholic and Orthodox Law is very difficult to change. The Truth doesn't compromise. Given someone has the Truth, any compromise results in deception and darkness. A compromised truth is no longer truth, but deception.

In the Old Testament, you have The Prophets. God spoke through the Prophets. Through different men separated by time and space, God spoke through these men. The character and tone of God did not change. The Prophets do not contradict each other. This shows the Holy Spirit. In Catholic Law, a Pope cannot or should not contradict another Pope. Is the Pope of the Holy Spirit? Is he working for God, himself, or something else? A Pope contradicting other Popes would show him to be an Anti-Pope and not aligned with the Spirit of God. It is a big deal. As a non-Catholic, squared away with God, someone with this understanding may be able to win any theological argument with a Catholic given they are knowledgeable on Vatican II and Catholic Law. At worst, they try to call you a Sedevantist, which, being a non-Catholic, they cannot get away with. The more liberal or moderate Catholics may ask if you read the catechisms, when they probably haven't read the catechism themselves, and you can quote them Vatican Law. The more traditional Catholics may try to argue like it is pre-Vatican II, which they cannot, and are not allowed to do via Vatican II. Vatican II, looked at from the standpoint of a Christian seeking Truth and God's Kingdom and Will, is wrong.

  • The restoration of unity among all Christians is one of the principle concerns of the second Vatican synod.

Prior to Vatican II, the Catholic Truth claim was that there were no Christians outside of the Catholic Church. Vatican II cedes. It makes concessions. After Vatican II, there are Christians outside of the Catholic Church, and one of the principle concerns of the Vatican II is the restoration of unity among all Christians. According to the Vatican II, it is ok to be a Christian outside of the Catholic Church? We are all building the Kingdom of God, and part of the Kingdom of God may be the restoration of unity among Christians. The Kingdom of God may be a Confederacy of like minded men with the Holy Ghost who work for restoration of the Church.

Receiving From the Holy Ghost

  • Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;(Proverbs 3:5)
Working for God, I started to feel kind of like Socrates or see relevance to Socrates. It was like I already knew everything through God's Holy Spirit, and I just needed to ask questions. I don't know. God knows. The Holy Ghost is a teacher and a councilor.

Do you know something? How do you know what you know is true? Sometimes lies and deceptions have been institutionalized. To receive more from God, someone needs to be in a place of the soul where they don't care. Where they don't know and don't care, and are humble and meek before God. The Truth hurts. Knowledge brings sorrow. Ignorance is bliss? Sometimes we don't want to hear the Truth. Sometimes the Truth may be soul crushing. Moving forward in Faith, and into the Truth may take courage. A man may need to take leaps of faith, and undergo various trials before he is willing to let go. He needs to let go and allow God to teach him. The Kingdom of God may best be built by men who have a proven connection to God. Through God and his Holy Spirit, and Enduring Spiritual Understandings, there are ways to solve disputes and disagreements between different denominations, and lead everyone into Truth and God's Kingdom.

Authority and Vatican II

For arguments sake, lets say that the Catholic claim on authority is true. Peter is the Rock on which Jesus built the Church, and authority has been being passed from Bishop to Bishop down the line. What Vatican II did was cede authority. It ceded authority to Secular Humanism. In many colleges today, there are professors that act like Luciferian, Secular Humanist clergy working to fire up their converts. Many Universities started out as Christian Institutions. Harvard and Yale and so on were Christian Universities. Are they Christian Universities today, or are they Secular Humanist Universities? Why don't many young women become nuns today after Vatican II? Many Catholic women believe they can make a difference outside the Church Authority, and outside of becoming a nun as a secular person because of Secular Humanism. Vatican II ceded authority to Secular Humanism, and there is a strong cause and effect relationship between Vatican II, and various ways the Post Modern World has developed.

One of the issues Catholics have with Vatican II, is that if Vatican II is wrong, who is to say it is wrong? Who has the Authority to say that Vatican II is wrong? You may need a Prophet and/or an Emperor. (The Holy Roman Emperor or Eastern Roman Emperor?) A Peter the Roman......Eastern Rome Roman. All he has to say is "Vatican II is wrong." Vatican II is wrong. Vatican II ceded authority. It ceded that there was authority outside of the Catholic Church. Vatican II created more of a Universalist Church. Instead of having a Great Commission, and working under the unwavering Truth of The Lord, Vatican II changed the religion to one of more of a Universalist Heresy where all religion is basically equal. Vatican II makes it hard for any Catholic to make a Truth claim.

11 Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. 12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. 16 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. 17 Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor. (1 Peter 2:11-17)
