From the Author

There were many influences in writing this “book” but the biggest influence was the “Church”. The place where I was to find the answers left me empty. The people who were supposed to help were to busy or too stringent in their ways. Answers were hard to come by especially when I went against the status quo. When God made Himself known to me, He gave me a great desire for His Word, so I studied for hours. I was not one who always believed what I was taught. Sometimes what I was taught and what I was reading conflicted. When I’d ask why? I’d get responses like “Theologian have been arguing about that for years” or “That’s the way that denomination believes we don’t believe that way”, or “Don’t you think someone who went to school and been doing this a long time knows a little more than you?”. The people who were supposed to have the answers did not and this frustrated me deeply. So, I began reading books to the left and to the right, writers from different countries. I have read many works of systematic theology, commentaries, reformers, early church fathers, everything all this and more have help me develop my theology. My theology is from the Bible be assured even though I have had very limited theological education. I am certainly not a novice in the scriptures. I have been called a theologian, a Berean, a scholar, by friends and pastors. I see myself as person that loves the Lord and His Word. I have a great reverence for God’s Word, and I will not handle it lightly. So, after 36 years of studying, writing studies and teaching others trying to expand their mind and not put the scriptures in a box (for example denominations) I have put together this “systematic story”. My intention was to make it an easy read that will give you big picture of God’s plan. I have many footnotes to support my theology. I have come across many people, especially young people frustrated with the church today. They too are looking for answers and not getting them leaving them with no place to turn but the world. My hope is that this book will help others who are looking for answers or maybe just lead them in a right direction.
