Blame and Judgment

Genesis Chapter 3

8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” 10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.”
11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?”
12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”
13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”
The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Blame appears to be the pattern here . the consuming of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil appears to be beginning of this behavior of blame, and it leads to judgment and expulsion from God's presence as Paul also related to the Galatians . if you're under the law then you've fallen from grace, the whole idea of the law and its enforcement comes from the premise of people blaming one another instead of taking responsibility for their own actions and prompted by love doing/saying/being good things instead .

So Paul also speaks of the judgment in which the secrets of all people's hearts will be revealed shedding light on the books in revelation being opened up are the hearts of people .. the book of the lamb is the heart of Jesus . and as James relates in reflection to this and the gospel "those who judge with mercy shall be judged mercifully (as the heart of Jesus) but those who judge without mercy shall be judged without mercy .

The carnal self continues to whine and speak as if it knows the things of God because it has memorized bible passages . but it's behavior and fruit is quite obvious . the new nature inside you is like Christ when nailed to the cross said .. forgive them .. they don't know what they're doing .

this is the judgment we have been called to .. and the way to the better resurrection . not of shame .. but of everlasting glory .
